While organizing a collection, an archivist looks through hundreds or maybe even thousands of documents.  Sometimes, from this mass of information, one can be struck by a quote, thought, story, meditation, or work of art.  As the lucky finder of this quote over two years ago, it still resonates with me and I’d love to share it:

“In the time of your life, live — so that in that wondrous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of it.” William Saroyan
