The Archives’ staff is happy to answer questions requiring a limited amount of research. Please submit your questions through our Contact Us page or by phone at 914-941-7636 ext. 2500. If your question cannot be answered within a reasonable amount of time or requires extensive on-site research we suggest that you engage an independent researcher who can visit the Archives.
The Maryknoll Mission Archives is the official repository of academic transcripts from the Maryknoll School of Theology, the Maryknoll College at Glen Ellyn, IL, Rogers College and the minor seminaries administered by Maryknoll. Official and/or unofficial transcripts for these institutions will be issued by the Archives upon receipt of both a written request signed by the former student and payment of a $10.00 fee for each transcript. Please see our Transcript Requests page for more information and an official request form. The Archives does not have diplomas.

All copy requests are subject to copyright law and must be approved by a staff member. Staff will also determine the number of copies or digital scans necessary to answer questions from remote researchers. Photocopies cost $.25 per page plus a staff time fee of $10.00 an hour (first hour is free). Rules and fees for digital image scans and duplication of select audiovisual materials are available upon request. Reproduction and duplication questions can be submitted through our Contact Us page.

No. The Archives can only accept payments made by check written to the Maryknoll Mission Archives or by cash (onsite researchers only).
Due to privacy considerations, the Maryknoll Mission Archives does not give out missioners’ mailing addresses, phone numbers or email addresses to the general public. If possible, we will pass along your contact information and any message you may have to the person you are trying to contact.
The Archives will provide very limited information about former missioners including the dates the individual entered and left Maryknoll, ordination date in the case of a priest and the geographical location(s) where the person was in mission.
A good place to start is with the Biographies section of our web site. There you will find information about Maryknoll’s deceased missioners. The Archives does not give out information about active Maryknoll missioners. To inquire about additional materials by or about your relative we suggest that you use our Contact Us page or call our main phone number 914-941-7636 ext. 2500 to speak with a staff member who will be able to further assist you.
