Welcome to the Maryknoll Mission Archives. Although on-site research visits are not allowed at this time due to COVID-19, Archives staff are still here to help! Our goal is to make your research experience as efficient and pleasant as possible.
On this website we’ve provided tools to assist you with your research. These include an overview of select collections, access to more detailed descriptions of open collections through our collection management system, biographies of Maryknoll’s founders, and biographies of deceased Maryknoll Fathers, Brothers, and Sisters.
What you won’t find are digitized collections. We are unable to substitute a virtual research visit for an on-site visit. Archives staff are happy to answer specific questions about your research topic, but those that would normally require a visit to the Archives will have to be postponed. Despite our current limitations, we encourage researchers to contact us about their projects so we can determine how we can be of help.

Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm and closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
