The Maryknoll Sisters have worked in mission locations around the world for almost 100 years, and in that time have celebrated many anniversaries of their mission work. In Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Pacific islands, anniversary celebrations can look very different but often have a common thread. Masses, parties, and video presentations are all common ways of commemorating a Sisters’ anniversary. As we get ready to celebrate the centennial of the Sisters’ first sending next year, we invite you to explore some examples of commemorative materials produced to celebrate many years of mission throughout the world.
