Ryozo Fuso Kado, Japanese Rock Craftsman

It’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the United States. To celebrate, we’re featuring Ryozo Kado, a Japanese rock craftsman who’s well known for his Japanese-style rock gardens and Catholic shrines. A dear friend of Maryknoll, several of his works reside at the Maryknoll Sisters’ Motherhouse, including a replica of Lourdes Grotto.
