Today, we celebrate the life of Bro. Gonzaga Chilutti. His expertise as a mechanic kept Maryknoll’s Pando Vicariate mission running in the depths of Bolivia’s jungles.

Observed annually on August 9th, this international day of observance is intended to raise awareness of the unique problems faced by Indigenous communities and gather support for Indigenous peoples living throughout the world.
